Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Tom and I headed away from the wind to start out this morning.  We went down to the river bottoms from Bishop's Storehouse.  We did 2 thirty second hill repeats at "relaxed sprint" pace, (an oxymoron there!) in mile 3 or 4.  Kept it at a very easy pace for everything else.  Not much excitement, but a very enjoyable morning.  We did see a freshly dead raccoon and a bat that was struggling on the road flipping around.  I HATE BATS!  There was a noisy rooster and a grunting cow.  Other than that, pretty uneventful.

Kim, when your not running, just a simple morning run is very eventful. We should cherish everyday running like the wind, crowing at the sunrise and getting lost in our own shadows.

I don't know...that sounds pretty eventful to me. Bats, raccoons, and roosters, oh my! On a really uneventful run for me the only item of interest is wondering when my dog will stop to tinkle.

I don't remember where you live but you should come and join me and Jody some time on our morning run. We would love the company. I hear we are doing a north south comp for the hobble creek half are you part of that?
