Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

This has been one of the great running weeks of my running career!  I would assume it is my highest mileage week ever.  When I did half marathons a few years ago I only ran 3 days a week.  I didn't understand the logic and enjoyment of running 5 - 6 days a week.  Today I met up with Tom after his fabulous PR 10K, (see his blog for details!).  A little over a mile to get to him and then we were able to finish off 5 miles together.  The weather was beautiful!  Sun shining!  Temps about 25 degrees.  No wind.  A little slush on the roads here and there, but mostly good footing!  Thanks for the encouragement from all of you!

Kim, 100 commando points, highest week ever. What is more important, watching your improvement, you have crossed mental and physical barriers and now are moving towards bigger goals.

Stay Cool, B of BS Rools out.

(I need to check on Tom). It seems that some commando points are likely due him.)

Holy Smokes! What a great week! You must have a lot of potential because you are taking a lot less time to handle the higher mileage than I am. Congratulations!

You're doing Painters! That's awesome. I'll see you there! Are you considering the Striders half on April 5th in lieu of Moab? Hope so...

Ditto what Brent and Lybi had to say Kim! You had a super running week and those paces starting with 10 and 9 are becoming more commonplace every week. You are awesome!!!
