Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

I promised Coach Tom I would keep all today's miles over 10:00.  I kept my promise.  Kellie joined in with me for 3 miles.  The rest was just me and that good ole' Spanish Fork Wind!

Good job keeping it nice and easy today Kim! Save that energy for some hills tomorrow and the 5K on Friday. Have a great Monday!

Hi, Kim.

I just barely noticed your comment on my blog from back on June 17. I decided to leave you a message here since I'm so tardy in replying.

Congratulations on getting into St. George. I ran the Heart of Holiday 5k last year hoping to get the St. George entry. I didn't, but I'm glad you did. I am also in for St. George. I got in on the "3rd try's the charm" rule -- they didn't let me in the last 2 years (darn them).

Maybe we'll see you around. We're running the Riverton 10K on the 4th. How about you?

Nice job! Sometimes it is really hard staying slow!

Great job, Kim! I can hardly wait to see your St. George race report and read about the FABULOUS marathon you are going to have!

Tom: Thank you for hills tomorrow. It's just what I want! Loafer mountain, here I come!

Peggy: We will be doing the Manti 4th of July 5K. It is very nice since the starting line and finish line is right in front of my parent's house!

Jody: Thanks, and you are right. That is when running with slower partners helps out a lot. Kellie always feel bad because she thinks she's slowing me down too much. She doesn't understand that running slow is a good thing too!

Lybi: Thanks, I'm looking forward to the report too! I keep visualizing me coming across the finish line and how I will look for the picture that gets taken! In my mind it is a major glamor shot!
