Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

I am kind of feeling pretty wimpy when I get out lately.  Hopefully that passes soon.

Happy Birthday tomorrow to our oldest son!  Camron will be 24 years old tomorrow and his cute wife has her birthday the very next day.  So happy to have these two in my life!

Kim, run some hill repeats, force yourself - mentally tough, you can do it. Maybe just the timeof the year.

Grand Funk Out

HEY!!! I did not know you were doing the Grand Slam this year!! Yeah, between that and pacing Walter's half marathons, we will see each other a lot. You might get sick of me. ;o)

Ha ha! We just said the same thing on each others blogs! It will be great to see you often!

Great minds think alike!!!

I am trying to figure out how to play each race of the slam. I am IN IT for the competition (not to win it, but to be up there if possible). I just can not figure out which spring race to RACE. I think I will have a hard time holding myself back on the first marathon since it is the FIRST, but I know if I go all out I will not be able to even pull off a 5 hour marathon 3 weeks later! Park City will be just gutting it out, and then HOPEFULLY I can PR by a second in St George!

Fun stuff!!! Is Tom doing it as well?

No Grand Slam for me Kelli. Just 1/2 marathons and shorter this year as far as racing goes. I will be doing Ogden and UV 1/2 marathons so I'll look forward to watching Kim and you and all the marathoners coming in!
