Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

A good run with Tom after a hard time getting out of bed for both of us.  I went back in to lay down for my nap already because of dentist appointments and ball games later.  I need to make sure to get my sleep.  I function much better when I have some zzzzs behind me!

You two are so funny! You must go to the forum and give advice to the engaged couple. Your communication skills are just astounding!!!

And tom I hope you enjoyed the concert :)

I think he's "sleep-working"!

From laurie on Tue, Jul 15, 2008 at 13:04:45

Oooh, I hear that can be dangerous. I have heard of men who have awoken to find their fingernails painted and wearing lipstick!! Better be careful!

I've never decorated a sleep-worker, but I do remember helping to decorate a heavy sleeper on the band bus on a long trip. Instead of lipstick and nail polish we used candy...on his eyes, in his mouth, nose, and ears...very sweet and colorful.

I work in the same building as Tom, and might consider decorating him while he's sleep-working if not for the retaliation risk. I think I probably sleep-work more than Tom does. Sometimes I doze off right in the middle of...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

I knew there was a reason why I usually work (sleep??) with my office door closed and locked!
