Yesterday we finally got some snow that stuck to the ground. We still didn't have to shovel because we are a south facing house and the sun comes out to do our job for us! But I'm glad it came on Sunday so it hit on a rest day. Today we were able to get out in shorts again and enjoy the sunshine. Yesterday was such a nice day as my parents and all my bros except one were able to be here with us to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary. We don't take the time to get together often enough. I wish Cam and Rurika and my brother Brandon could have been here and it would have felt a little more complete but it was a really nice afternoon with the fam! One extra exciting thing with the day was to meet my brother Shane's new girlfriend Lisa! Tonight we will be picking up our friend Aoi who is flying in from Japan. Tomorrow we will take her into the MTC as she will begin her mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I am so excited for her to serve in the Texas, Houston Mission. Since I am such a slacker in my journal writing I need to make sure to make note of some of those things in here. Sorry to anyone who happens to glance at it and only want running info. :o)
