Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Tom was able to pull me out of bed this morning for 4.5 miles. It was a nice morning and the legs felt quite good after Saturday's race. The first half mile or so seemed like I was fake running. I know that sounds stupid, but that's the only way to explain it. After the first bit it felt more natural, but we kept it nice and easy.

After I got the kids out the door I met up with Stacie for our mile wog. I have to say it is not much of a wog anymore though. She is doing so good! There is already a huge improvement in how much she is running compared to walking the mile. It is mostly a jog now. In fact, I'm not going to call it our wogging date anymore, it is now our mile jog. Right as we started the hail started coming down quite hard and pelting our faces. I think she wondered if we would decide not to continue. But she was a trooper and we did the mile with hail for about half and then turning to snow for the final half.

We had an enjoyable time at the Pachev's house last night. Thanks Sasha and Sarah for opening your home to all of us.

I also have to let you all know what supportive kids Tom and I have! They are so good to help where needed to let me and Tom enjoy this fun, healthy, addicting little habit. Thanks kids!

Nice job sticking it out with Stacie in the hail and snow! Even though it's supposedly "spring" perhaps there is still time to make a WOW out of Stacie.

Great to see you and Tom. I hope it was fun for all. I tried to do a fun but stress free party. Your kids are beautiful and so well behaved..at least when they are feeling shy. I'm sure they liven up a bit at home. Again, thanks for coming and making us part of your day.
