Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Tom has the day off work today so we slept in a bit and then went to Payson Canyon. We had to take two cars, (not very efficient). We parked one at Pateetneet and then drove up to the base of The Grotto trail. The first 4-5 miles are down hill and then it has rolling and flat with a more gradual down hill from there.

Since it's my first time down I will document my splits for future reference.

8:13 7:19 7:34 7:38 7:43 8:20 8:05 8:25 over all average 7:55

Crazy animal encounter of the day..."Preacher Cow" The sun was just poking over the mountain for their sunrise sermon. The main herd was corralled inside their fence. One cow, (Preacher Cow), stood outside the fence and up on a bit of a hill looking down over his little flock. He would let out a loud "Moooo" and the others would all respond with their "Amens", (or amoooons).
