Running Accomplishments:

I started running in the fall of 2007.  I truly believe I was inspired to start running and I have seen some very big blessings come my way because of following that inspiration.

Ran Boston Marathon 2013 & 2014.  My favorite PRs:  2011 at the SG 1/2 and 5K where I ran the 5K in 22:22.    2013 Nebo 1/2 (downhill) 1:36:15

Short-Term Running Goals:

Long-Term Running Goals:

Running throughout life with Tom. Staying healthy and happy.

Learn from others, learn from myself, work hard, do my best, enjoy!

On running and on life.....

On occasion we need to make a second effort - and a third effort, and a fourth effort, and as many degrees of effort as may be required to accomplish what we strive to achieve.

Some advice to all of you!!!! If your hubby/running buddy says,

"Hey, I have great idea! Let's get up at the looney time of 4:30 and go to Loafer Mountain and run up all the way! Let's not stop at the gate where we stopped last time, let's keep going all the way on the ridiculously steep last mile! You will really like going all the way to the top because there is a drinking fountain up there to reward you! Then we will turn around and run down the ridiculously steep first mile and all the rest of the down hill! You will love it! Everyone needs to try it once! Blah, blah, blah.....!"

If you hear that, don't listen, hire a hit man if you need to.  Not an enjoyable way to start a week!  Rainy day and Monday and a killer workout!  Glad I didn't have to go to work or anywhere, because I crawled back into bed for an hour and a half!

A "hit man"? Isn't that a bit on the harsh side? Come on just admit it....you LOVED our little run this morning didn't you? Even without the hummingbirds and flowers and animation and dapper outfits, etc...

Oh no...I think I feel a wave of "Step in Time" verses coming on to torture me the rest of the day (week?)!

"Run up Loafer, step in time"

"Ain't it fun!, step in time"

"Stop for a potty break, step in time"

"Take out Coach Tom, step in time"

I wouldn't call a water fountain a reward, unless it came with sugar, carbonation, and caffeine..............something in the form of Dr.Pepper. But at least it's done right? Have a great day!

I just wanted the hit man to actually hit you for a minute, that's all! :) But remember what you said after..."we don't need to do that one much, mostly just the Payson downhill!" Don't forget you said that!

It is unfortunate when we have to beat up our hubbies. It's a good thing they're cute 'n all. It sounds like a great workout though ;)
