Met a lot of great people and enjoyed the races, travel time, and the overall process for all four years. I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

| AM- Fire Cracker 5k this morning. I decided to wear my flag shorts for the race for Independence Day. I didn't know what kind of shape I am in, but I just wanted to feel out the race. Splits were 5:56, 5:51, 5:52. The effort felt somewhat like a tempo, but I am not sure how much faster the legs wanted to go today. Overall it was great to be in an actual race again in quite a while. Happy 4th everyone!
