I made varsity several times throughout high school, but had to work quite a bit for it as well. Overall, had a great experience with it though!

| AM- 20 minutes on the assault bike. 30 minute circuit workout, consisting of 1 minute assault bike, 1 minute stair steps, 1 minute plank. 1 mile walk afterward. Experimented with a 20 hour fast today, mostly because I wanted to see how my blood sugar levels would do. My levels stayed flat and consistent all day, which I was pretty happy about and surprised that my blood sugar levels didn't go low. Not going to do this everyday, but I will play with it on days where I am not running much or taking a rest day from running. Staying busy was the key though. Mowing the lawn and doing other chores around home that needed to be done, made it pretty easy.

| AM- 2 mile warmup, 2 mile tempo in 6:41, 6:36. 4x 1 minute on/off. Cooldown to 10 afterwards. Legs were feeling it on the tempo, but felt better on the 1 minute intervals. Going to try to get in a strength training session later today.

Rest 3-5 minutes, 35 minute amrap: 50-40-30-20-10 double unders, 2 minutes assault bike between sets. Tough one today!
