Short-Term Running Goals:

Run twice a day, everyother day. Build mileage to about 60 mi. per week. Find a winter marathon to run.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Find my limits at age 46/47/48...and on and on and on.

Personal:

I am very happily married to a wonderful lady. She is my biggest fan. I have two wonderful kids, 4 great step children, and two step grandsons. I teach Elementary school PE.

Nice and easy run. 7.1 mi. at 6:51 ave. Still probably a little fast, but it felt really easy and never put me into stress. Considering the 20 mi. on Sat. I feel really good.

This evening I ran 7.9 mi. but a little too fast. I have got to slow it down so I can get the miles in that I want to. 6:39 ave.

Morning easy run. Still faster than I meant it to be. 7.1 mi. at 6:46 ave.

This afternoon I ran 3 miles before Dixie Dashers and 5 after on the track. Pretty slow but I don't know how slow. no watch

A little tired this morning, but ran easy and had a good run. I think I am getting smoother with my stride and foot strike. I guess I have had to in order to raise my miles. 6.3 mi. at 6:44 ave.

Windy afternoon run. Tried to take it easy, but had to work to get through the gale force. 6.3 mi. at 6:48

Ran the Kayenta loop. Stayed pretty comfortable through most of the run. Pushed through the last 6mi. 16.8 mi. 6:39 ave. Used 1 cliff gel at 6.5. Short drink at Hamblin house.

Great week for me. I finished with just a nice long walk with Kathy. My knees are a bit tender, so I didn't try to push another run today.I had a good mileage week.
