This was an out and back course starting at the baseball fields in Cedar City going up the cayon 1.5 mi. then back. I felt really sluggish at the start of the race, then got into a rhythm and was able to reel in the  guys ahead of me.I led through miles 2 and most of three. Then Ryan cam up from behind and surprised me. I didn't have the kick to staay with him. I hadn't timed my finish kick correctly because I was only concerned with the guy who had been marking me during the second half of the race. Anyway, I am happy with the race and the miles that I put in this week.

This evening went and ran 6 mi. on the treadmill at 7:00-7:30 ave. No soreness from the race this morning. Just a little tired.

Excellent job on the race! You should be really happy with that especially with all the miles you have put in this week.

However, too bad you didn't win the Nintendo Wii so we could have had parties at your house.

Hey they gave the Wii out in a drawing. So I don't have to feel bad about that. I was happy with the 5:15 I ran for the last mile. I think we need to do some speed work before that Summer Games. I need to have more confidence in my speed at the end.

Wow! A 5:15 mile at the end? Whoa you've got staying power. Great job on your race, Runnman!
