NIce cool run with a few sprinkles. I decided to push the pace a little during a few of the miles. I ran 10 mi. at 6:19 ave. I'm feeling pretty good and ready for a tough summer of training.

This evening joined Anytime Fitness so I could run all summer without worrying about the heat. So I went for a 6 mi. at 6:58 pace. Treadmills will help me control my "easy" runs.

Kathy and I went back to the gym for a late workout. I put in 4 more miles with a rest and stretch between each mile. 7:45 ave.

This is also my plan. I also plan to keep a big fan in my car that I can bring in to the gym to make it even cooler for my runs. Easy runs I will do outside in the heat as I can handle the heat for an easy pace and will have less boredom from the treadmill. But I think it is very important for tempo's and some intervals to get out of the heat just to be able to do the kind of intensity you need to improve.

Ken, your freaking me out with your pace. Clyde better watch out! Now that school is out, you should come and run with us on Thursdays. We run a little slower then you! Aaron and I tend to pick it up an leave the group. I think you and Aaron would burn up the road!

Thanks for keeping an eye on me. I am really happy with where my running is going right now. I need to stay consistant and healthy. I may get with all of you occassionally on Thurs.
