Easy monday morning run. No real effects from Sat. race. Garmin was dead so no time or pace. Ran about 8.5. I'll measure it next run.

Afternoon HOT run!!! 6.45 mi. at 6:39 pace.

OK guys, how do we do 2 a days in St. George without burning our brains? Any good ideas???

I would suggest probably like you did today, longer run very early in the morning and then whatever you can handle in the afternoon/evening.

I'm sitting here right now trying to decide whether to tackle the 100 degree temps or take a spin on the treadmill. I'll probably hit the treadmill tonight, just because there is a good basketball game on.

i don't envy you st george guys. cedar is a great place for summer running. temps cool off nicely every evening. good luck.

I always look forward to the end of the school year thinking I get to sleep in - then I realize, "Hey stupid, you have to get up just as early to beat the heat!"

So it's early runs and then treadmill in the afternoon. If I just can't take the treadmill anymore, I wait until dark. It's amazing that even though it might be still 95 out, w/o the sun 95 seems pretty nice.
