After a long break, I'm back.  I took some time off over the holidays.  Well, it was over the holidays, but I mostly took the break to finish up my honors thesis and to apply to PhD programs.  Since those are all done, I have no excuse.  Also, since I'm not sure where we'll be living this fall--please respond with haste admissions committees (and in the affirmative)--I'll probably try to run the Utah Valley Marathon in June.  With some good training and some birthday luck (the race is one day after my birthday), I'd like to shave a lot of time off of my 3:08 time.  I am also ready for some warmer weather.

Well, today my goal was just to get out and move my legs, and it was a success.  I only went 2.5 miles, but it went well.  Besides the fact that it is still far too cold, it was a nice run.  Here's to some good training.  I'll also try to be a bit better about writing a little more in my comments, even though I'm quite sure that the only time I get responses is when I show up in the lone faithfuls section.  Alas...  If anyone reads this, I hope you have a great day!
