I ran to Kiwanis Park the back way by Seven Peaks and then did 2 800-meter repeats (2:41, 2:36) at Kiwanis with about 800 meter recovery in between. I know that it's not a lot, but it was a good start. I haven't done 800s since high school, but I think they'll help to regain some speed. So, in total, 5 miles warmup and cooldown and 2 miles speedwork.
