Long-Term Running Goals:

I love to run!  I want to feel good and run for a very long time.

Personal:

My husband Brent and I live in Orem with our three kids ages 12, 10 & 7.  Brent is a Marriage and Family Therapist and I'm at home with the kids.  I used to be a CPA, but now I just do a little bookkeeping from home.  For a lot of years running a marathon was something I did to get back in shape after having a baby.  Just finishing was accomplishment enough, now I want to finish faster.

I ran the St. George Marathon in 3:18 when I was 18 and set a record for my age division 15-18.  Now I train with the girl who broke my record.  I love the marathon and half marathon.   Long runs are what keep me from going crazy.

My son finally turned the corner on Saturday and stopped needing pain medication.  Yea!  I was really feeling bad for him having such a sore throat for so long.  It's also so nice to have a  normal sleep instead of getting up to give him medicine every three hours.

I was going to run 15 with Melanie, but it was so cold!.  She hit the treadmill and I planned on going later when it was warmer.  One thing led to another and before I knew it the afternoon was here.  I headed out with my two sisters who are from OR and AZ.  I thought I would run a few with them and then do more, but we stopped at my uncle's house to see cousins we hadn't seen in years and visited for too long.  We ran home and I didn't have time for more.  avg 9:42 pace.
