I believe that if you think you can do it and you work hard enough any thing is possible. My whole hip/hammy/sciatic thing was very sore yesterday, I did all the usually working it out, scraping and such and it does feel better today. Man I wish I could just run and not hurt though, it is really a bummer not to be able to run and race like I want to. I am starting to think there is something seriously wrong with me that will never be better and marathoning will not be in my future for to much longer. did pilates legs and stretching. MV

Met at Melody's and ran to get Marie and Rebecca and did an 8 mile loop down into Provo. Leg felt good, was hardly there which is weird that it can hurt so bad after my long runs and then not really be there come mon. but I will take that. I felt good until we went up the 8th s. hill and then was pooped. Came home and stretched. 1:05:20/8:10 Pilates legs

Met the Orem girls at the mouth of Provo canyon to go run some trails. We ran to the drinking fountain at timp park and headed up there, did an out and back. felt fair. Weights arms and adductors 1:00:27/8:38

Met down at APX, no one showed so I ran on my own. Which was okay cause I was so tired and I could just run easy. Iced in the canal after. 8:30 avg. pace P-legs before bed

| Met at Melody's and we ran and got Marie, Rebecca, and Julie. We headed North and then turned around to run Melody home because her behind was hurting her. So we looped down by gold's gym, Julie and Marie were super speedy today and me and Rebecca weren't feeling it so we just hung back. 8:10 avg. pace. stretching |

| I made it 20, wow this is harder than I remember! I seem to loose it around 15 miles, just super tired esp. in the diaphragm. I met Michelle at the crazy 4 way stop going up 4th south to hobble creek canyon, I had already done 3 miles. We headed up hobble creek canyon and followed the left fork up. I felt good going up but once I hit 15 I was getting tired and it was getting hot. Took a gu at 9 and probably should have taken another. I definitely could have used more water. Michelle was only doing 15 so I had 2 more to do when we got back, I was just going to be done but got a drink and did a loop that ended up being 2. The last mile was coming up 4th south and was all uphill, really uphill. Anyways got it done and my hip feels better than it did last week:) I guess I shouldn't feel to bad seeing half this run was uphill and really good uphill not just provo canyon grade. 2:50:16/8:31 |
