10 miles near my parents house in the suburbs of Baltimore. Avg pace was 7:48 and things felt good given the hilly terrain. There were 4 significant climbs during the run and I recovered quickly from each one.
4 miles on the treadmill (1.5 incline) with 2 miles at peak race pace. Splits were 7:45, 6:49, 6:44, 7:40. The middle two miles felt really comfortable. I plan to only go this pace during the marathon on the severe downhills.
Last run before the marathon. 3 easy miles on the treadmill (1.5 incline) at 7:40 avg pace. I was planning to go 4 miles but my IT band flared up a bit so I cut it short.
