It felt great running again after taking 9 days off to rest my ankle. I plan to take it fairly easy this week. The DC Half is less than 3 weeks away. I want to run well but the ultimate goal is the marathon in May so I want to be smart to avoid another injury.
I picked up a new pair of shoes on super sale and gave them a test run today. I went back to a little more support with these and they felt pretty good.
Decided to run outside eventhough it was lightly raining when I left the house. Once I was about 5 miles into the run (and away from my house) it started raining pretty heavy. What a mess!
