Personal:
I have five cute kids. And I have some rockin short green racing shorts- I wear them mainly because it embarrasses my wife so much. I like ultimate frisbee, trail running, reading, and cheering for the Denver Broncos! And I have the absolute best wife in the world. And I used to run for the now-disbanded national Team Pearl Izumi- Ultra!
My highest yearly mileage was 3331 in 2009. Obviously already past that this year, with probably several hundred more to come.
Full report for my FHT run last week is now posted.
Lunch- 8 in the rain. Supposed to rain 4-6 inches in Greenville today, a notable amount even here. That would be about 3-4 months worth of rain in Logan.
Lunch- my ankle is still hurting, esp. after yesterday's run. Well, I'm no longer sure it is my ankle- seems more like a tendon along the top of the foot near the ankle. Either way, xt today.
Any ultrarunners should enjoy Geoff Roes' preview of TNF50 this weekend.
Lunch- back on the horse. 8 miles. Ankle is improving, but not perfect.
Got a pair of Hoka's in the mail today. Not a fan of paying $100 for a pair of shoes (normally $160), but I gotta see what these things are all about. Counting my 4 other shoes still in the box, I now have 20 pairs of still-active running shoes. I need help.
AM- 14 ez by myself around the house. Moderately rolly terrain, 1:46. Cool and breezy, 45 deg (a lot warmer than the 9 deg in Logan right now!). Now gotta watch TNF50 twitters.
John Stewart with another excellent clip, this one about bankers and the Fed, explaining it as only he can.
