Lunch- 6 xt and a ton of stretching.  Legs are coming around such that I might run tomorrow.

Anyone in Iowa or anywhere else with a primary coming up- if you haven't seriously studied Ron Paul, please do so.  I won't tell you to vote for him, but at least give him a few minutes of your time.  Dr. Thomas Woods has a 2 minute summary here of why you should consider Ron Paul:

Any idea who he would pick as a VP running mate? With his age, that's a pretty big consideration.

From Rob Murphy on Tue, Jan 03, 2012 at 13:54:07 from 205.127.70.66

Probably Jefferson Davis.

Agreed, Jon.

No idea, Steve. He's getting old, but they say he's physically active. Might have a better chance of 4 years than Newt.

Rob- said like a true Southerner.

The reason I suggested Jefferson Davis (even though he is something like 210 years old - older even than Ron Paul) is because Dr. Woods was a founding member of the League of the South, a group that favors a renewed secessionist movement along with libertarian and paleocon causes as well. I had a neighbor in Greenville who was a member and he was always sharing the groups newsletter with me which frequently had guest columns by Tom Woods. Also, Paul has been tweeting recently against the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and hating Abraham Lincoln.

All positions Jefferson Davis would support.

I just checked wikipedia... turns out Davis is dead.

From Jon on Wed, Jan 04, 2012 at 21:25:03 from 98.71.175.203

Yeah, I kinda figured Davis was dead. It would be pretty amazing if he wasn't.

I have a lot of great ideas, that doesn't mean I should run for President. I view the President as a spokesman for the United States and if someone can't even stand in front of a camera for 60 seconds without coming across as a complete moron how can they be expected to represent the country. People need to respect the person in charge and this certainly isn't him.

Sorry, I normally stay out of political debates cause I know someone like Rob would tear me apart. But I just couldn't refrain myself.
