I just posted my 2010 year in review on my GSR page.

It's Tuesday, which means a night run at Paris Mtn with Barry.  Enjoyable, as always, with perfect weather (50 deg or so).  Unfortunately, it also meant tons of mountain bikers- we saw more than 2 dozen on the trail.  The run was very enjoyable and seemed to fly by- I looked at my watch near the end expecting to see 1:15 or so, but instead saw we had been going for 1:53, and weren't done yet.  Longest run since the start of November, I think.  Good times.  I even had a few encounters with a bunch of east coast thorns.  My legs definitely aren't Barkley Ultramarathon bad...

... but they did get rather chewed up.  Definitely worth it, though.

Nah, they're not bad at all. I just wanted to post a cool picture. I think I only have 10 or so scratches.

Ouch! Not that bad, only 10 stratches...per knee cap!

To clarify, those aren't my legs. Those are someone who did the first 20 miles of Barkley.

Nice annual review, I'll comment here instead of GSR. Hopefully you don't match that "between jobs" bit for a few more years, nice as it sounds.

I signed for the Chuckanut Mountain 50k again, it filled in less than 2 hours. You'll have to come do it some year, it's a popular one and a pretty good challenge. Looking forward to your 2011 plan.

Enjoy the 50k, Dave. There are definitely some nice races in WA I'd like to do- Chuckanut, WR50, even do a run around the entire Wonderland trail.
