1.5 mile wo, leg speed/hill workout, 1 mile wd
I wanted to get my legs turning over a little bit and to work on some neuromuscular coordination and efficiency. One of my goals for the next few months is to get in 1-2 miles worth of leg speed/strides/hill repeats each week. It was cold, sunny afternoon and I actually enjoyed running a little quicker than usual.
The workout was 2 sets of: 4x100 strides with 300 jog and 4 x 20-25 sec hill repeats. I took a couple of minutes of jogging between the sets. |
