AM - 15 miles. 10 Mile AT Tempo in 54:25 (5:27/mile avg). Tempo loop. 3 up, 2 down. I could tell on the warmup that I was a little flat from the trip/drive so I figured slowing down ~5-10 secs/mile would be the right effort for today. Good call - got in a solid effort but avoided dipping into the well or pressing to hit a pace. Warm/humid compared to Colorado... lost 7 lbs on the run!

PM - 9 miles w/ Kramer at the Horsepark. Steady pace, and Kramer threw in 6 x 1 minute surges but I skipped that part.

Great workout. Man, those pictures from last weekend are impressive. You should have some good blood now.

It feels like sludge right now. Need to dilute it back down a bit.

Lost 7 lbs! Wow, is that normal?

I don't know... I don't usually measure before/after, but I suspect on a warmer and faster run, its within the expected range. That's only 5% body weight, so not really that much.

That's a monster day. 24 miles and 10 at a good pace. Nice work.

I think the 7 pounds is normal for this atypically humid Utah weather that we've had lately. I was down 6 pounds on Monday after the 20 miler and after drinking 32 ounces at end of the run.
