Some stuff I think is interesting...

From Science of Sport: Bricks, mortar and high performance inefficiency

While I wish that Lance would just go away forever because of statements like these, I am a huge fan of Bill Simmons, and his podcast with documentary filmmaker Alex Gibney is excellent. Some of the tangential parts of their discussion are particularly worth listening to.

And last but most importantly, Type A6! They are light and AWESOME. I'll give 'em a go this weekend, and probably will use them for CIM.

Read a recent interview with Lance in Cycling magazine - it really would be best if he would just stop giving interviews...

I was conflicted on whether to even link the podcast b/c I sort of just wish everyone would forget about him. But, Bill and Alex's discussions went beyond simply talking about Lance.

I just tore up my Lance Armstrong poster that I had in one of my file cabinets.

About time!

What's the secret update there? Higher toe spring angle, I see. And . . . snake skin upper?

Flex film upper- pretty close! It's light and hugs the foot nicely.

Bottom platform is redesigned - iBR+ blown rubber outsole (aka "fancy").

I am not sure why I don't run in my 4s that much because I like the shoe. Softer than my usual flats, but I love them for the track. Might try them on the treadmill. I just heard them whimper in my running closet.
