AM - 8 miles up to work. I was actually planning on making a sacrifice to the cross-training gods and riding my bike this morning, but biking in the rain is just not my thing. Feels like its been a long time since I've run in the rain.

Last night was the USATF board meeting... I'm the new co-chair of the LDR committee, so I'll be working on making the circuit schedule a bit more robust next year. Also, the wheels are already in motion for a one-mile road race next summer!

PM - 4.4 miles down to SHP.

Thanks for the reminder to register as a member of the Utah USATF. I'm sure you'll improve the circuit! Congrats Mr. Co-Chair, can I still call you Jake? ;>

Yes the Nebo one miler! :):) I'll be training for it all winter...

How do I become a member of this fancy little club?

nice work at the meeting, co-jake. i was worried the circuit was in danger of fizzling out in 2013.

you wouldn't have to worry about biking in the rain if you owned one of these: http://goo.gl/Vn5BJ

You sign up at USATF.org - but wait until the beginning of the new calendar year.

What I envision for next year (in an ideal world) is a schedule that is sort of equally geographically distributed... this year every race was SLC or Ogden/Logan, and nothing in Utah county. It would be good to mix that up a bit. I really want to try and get UVM on the circuit.

Nice!!! That'll give me plenty of time to lsoe weight and train for the one miler. Love it!!!

Great news! The circuit was way too tight this year; you had to run almost every race and they weren't spread out very well. I'm sure you'll help improve it a lot. I look forward to seeing next year's schedule. And the one-mile road race is the best news I've heard in a long time (just don't have it be a downhill course; the flatter the better)!
