AM - 6.4 mi. Easy run. Workout later today.

PM - 16 mi. Tempo run on bike path, out & back. Andrea biked along with the GPS. Ran 13.1 miles in 1:12. Felt super smooth and even a lot easier than the race a week ago. Having Andrea keep me on pace really helped. This is a big confidence booster for UVM. Up until last weekend, it would have been a 30 second half marathon PR.

Very solid "tempo"! You are looking strong for UVM.

Wow, that is a great training run, you will rock UVM!

Thanks. Just need to get the taper right and put off any of my "riskier" skiing objectives until after UVM!

I'm excited to see how you do at UVM. My friend Seth (the guy you beat at Buffalo) is the course record holder. Your training has been pretty incredible this year.

This is amazing. You'll be going up against some of the best guys Utah has to offer at UVM. Paul Peterson, Bryant Jensen and a couple of Kenyans most likely.

Fiddy was my nickname in college. It was short for "fiddy-pence" because I'm british.

UVM should be very competitive. I know the half is loaded, but we should have a great group in the marathon as well. I'm spending the next 2.5 weeks reminding myself not to do anything stupid in the first 10 miles! :-)
