AM - 12 miles. Tempo Run at Liberty Park: 8 miles in 42:42 (5:20 average pace). During the first mile I was thinking "this is too early, we need to start doing these in the afternoons"... but after 5-10 minutes I got into a really nice rhythm and the rest of the workout felt very smooth. Pace was a little quicker than last week, exactly where I want to be on these runs. Over the weekend I read Adam Goucher's new book - Running the Edge. Its not what you'd expect from a typical running book, but I thought it was really good. Might be worth checking out if you are looking for something to read. Here is my review. PM - 8.3 miles.
