It was a nice morning (58) but very foggy.  My stomach felt better this morning so wanted to get in a few extra miles.  Because of the fog I had to run some laps in my neighborhood before going out on the roads.  After about 30 minutes the fog started to lift so ran the loop through Fox Cove.  I felt pretty good for the most part but struggled some the last 3 miles.  I was running out of energy.  I didn't eat much yesterday because of the stomach issues so I think I just ran out of fuel.  I was glad to get in the extra miles and hope the stomach problems are finished.

Jim,

Great running this week! It looks like your fitness is going great. I am thinking you should start doing some speed work. For example 6 to 8 x 100 @ a 6:30 to 7:00 pace. But please remember that this is a suggestion. Have a great day!!!!

Jim, hope the stomach issues get better. Nice to see some variety in your workouts this week- a little speed, a little distance. The cooler weather I'm sure will help in the upcoming months.

Thanks! I had a couple of bad months this summer so I am trying to get back into a good routine. Adding some mileage and some speed. Both of you continue to push me along by the consistent example that you set.
