It was a cold (42) and windy fall day today.  Didn't seem like we got many of the nice fall days where it is sunny and mid 50's.  I felt pretty good running today and did a mid-long run.  The plan this week is to just run solid miles with no speedwork to get my legs back after the relay on the weekend.  I went out into the wind so it was nice coming back home with the wind at my back.  I picked it up the last few miles but my legs were tired the last 3 miles so had to push a little.

Nice work. Very good strategy to just recover with easy runs.

I hope things keep getting better for your running.

Dang man, don't they have sidewalks here? I was dodging cars for my entire run this morning.

I will call you later today to make plans for tomorrow.

Do you think they have gels at the expo, I was dumb and forgot to pack any!

Welcome to my world. Not sure where you are at but I can stay on the country roads and there is not much traffic.

They have a small expo at the packet pickup but they should have gels. If not, I can tell you a few places to pick them up. I am very open tomorrow so whatever works best for you is fine with me. Looks like the weather is going to get better but will be pretty cold Sat morning.

Cool, thanks for the info. Yeah, the weather is looking better. I have so many clothes options packed it is ridiculous! Right now thinking shorts, short sleeve shirt, sleeves, gloves, headband and maybe a light running vest.

Talk to you later today!
