Got busy yesterday and didn't get a run in.  I have been struggling with staying consistent with my training the last few weeks.  I need to get back to where I get in at least 6 consective days of running in.  Hopefully, that will improve over the next few weeks.

It was a cool morning (33) but no wind.  I felt good this morning but just ran easy.  I have had some kind of a stomach bug or something the last couple of days but that didn't bother me too much.  I would like to get another good workout in this week but I am thinking about running a 10k this weekend.  I am looking at our schedule and will try to make a decision today.  If I don't do the race I will do a longer tempo run tomorrow.

Good run today. Looks like you've had a good week so far and very consistent.

It's hard to keep things going when work is busy, and family life. I compared where I was last year in running and it's depressing. I have a hard time letting go to slow down. You think in your head that you have a small window to get faster because you know your age will caught you.

But I guess we have to realize that God doesn't care about our times but only about where our heart is. But it's still hard.

Jim, hope you're feeling better and wish you luck on your run this weekend.

Kory, you still have several years of good running ahead of you. This season of "trials" will make you stronger.

Kory, it is always a balancing act to keep everything going between family, work, church, etc. Makes me appreicate the time that I do have for things like running. I have tried to make sure that I have the priorities right in my life but I don't always succeed. I do the same thing, I get down on my runnng progress and get frustrated sometimes but when I look at it in the big picture of my life I realize how unimportant it really is. Just hard sometimes to keep the big picture view.

Dave, thanks I am feeling better and will give that 10k a try tomorrow.
