Back in Indiana and was greeted with a cool (40) fall morning.  I felt pretty good this morning but a little tight/stiff from the race and travel yesterday.  We had a great vacation but it is always good to be home.  I just took it easy this morning.  I was excited coming out to the Disney race and am looking forward to upcoming half and full marathons.

Welcome home. Are you running the Monumental Marathon?

Jeff, I am going to run the half at the Monumental and then run the Huntsville marathon again in Dec. I have went back and forth on plans but finally got it all straight. I have a friend that will be running Huntsville with me. It is his first marathon so I was trying to coordinate my schedule with his. I think it will be good to get a few more long runs under my belt and see how the half goes.

Hi Jim,

Thanks for your kind comments. I am excited about qualifying for Boston. Only a couple of months ago my goal was to finish Marine Corps in 4:20-4:30, but I did train pretty hard for it and it paid off. From what I see, you are an excellent runner ( Way out of my league!). Good luck to you, and perhaps we will meet in Boston next year.
