Ran with Stacie this morning.  I was planning to do 6 but since she was doing 8 I just figured I'd see if I could keep up.  I don't think we have run together since the marathon.  It was nice.

I'm getting back in shape. All I need is more consistency--which I need to build gradually--and about 20-30 less lbs.  I'm sure I can drop 10 of those with more consistent running or other training.  (I was 11 lbs lighter when I ran the marathon.)  The rest will mean lighter lunches and a commitment to being hungry in the evenings.  Maybe some weight training.  All my upper body strength migrated to my legs.

I wish I could lose 10 lbs with consistent running or other training.

Fun to run with you this morning. Are you still limping?

I was thinking that. I wish my body knew that I ran and it would respond accordingly..stupid body. It thinks I drink beer for a living. I swear if I don't watch every single little calorie I intake I gain 10 lbs. Awesome running Jeff, glad you're getting out there, it feels good doesn't it? {when its over I mean.} :)

Stacie: stop running until you gain 10 lbs.

Lysa: It feels better for me about three miles into the run. I usually feel like crap when it's over.
