Turned off pace and distance from display.  Ran for an hour, was hoping to run for 2, but there was some knee discomfort.  7:38 AP.  Honestly, this is probably marathon pace for me right now if my knee would hold up for 26 miles ... which it wouldn't.  6 weeks to Boston, not good.

Have you gone to the doctor about your knee? When I had my problem I waited for about a month. When I finally had the doctor x-ray it we found out that it was a floating bone spur. She said if I really wanted to run just take 5 ibuprofen and run :-) Maybe it's something simple like that!

No doctors ...but I am quite certain it is nothing serious ... it is more discomfort than pain. I am just trying to take care of it before it evolves into pain. I am ok with patience, I have plenty of things for me to focus on other than how fast I run Boston, & I can always run it fast next year if that is important to me! :) I am doing a 20 miler in a couple weeks, so I will definitely load up on Ibuprofen before I do that.

Glad that it at least doesn't feel serious. Get through training the best you can, then you can heal up after Boston.
