No plan, late dinner, was getting dark before food fully digested but went out for some miles with a little speed work.  Ran a 10k in 50 minutes, mostly easy running after start.

Mile 1 - 6:38

Mile 2 - 6:20

1.84 miles @ 9:10 pace

0.27 @ 6:18 pace (across bridge)

0.9 @ 9:04 pace (around island)

0.27 @ 6:08 pace (across bridge)

0.92 @ 9:16 pace

Happy to get 6.2 miles in ... riding bike 20 miles early in morning, followed by some trail running.

Boston Classic Miles: 6.20

Nice speed and good idea mixing in the cross training!

Thanks Dan ... I have nightmares about HMS! (High Mileage Syndrome) I felt some minor tweaking in my Achilles earlier in the week, so trying to dial it back a little!

How can you run that fast right out the door, wow! Nice run.

HMS is no joke, I'm thinking of joining a support group or 12-step program.

Hahaha! You guys need a 12 step program...if not it will end up in weeks of the couch program. Too many miles for my sad old bod and I end up injured every time. I am on the run every other day program. It is working so far!

Nice running right out the door. If I tried to run in the sixes after eating I would have to re-eat my dinner when I got back home!

You are a night owl, I can't run at night. Good running as usual.
