Repeats today. I was feeling absolutely miserable all day, and it got even worse when we started. My stomach was killing me and I was coughing up a storm. But the workout went pretty well. I was supposed to be doing 4x1000 at 4:13 pace. Usually when we do repeats, I run the first one or two kinda fast then try to slow up and actually hit my time. But coach said that if we can hit a time consistently, then that's good, even if it's faster than what you're supposed to hit. I hit 3:57, 3:56, 3:55, and 3:54. So I felt pretty good about my times, even though I felt like poo physically. Weights after, felt good. |
