Personal:

My mother forced me to start running as a freshman in high school.. and as much as I hate to admit it, I actually ended up liking it. Graduated from Pine View High School in 2013 and, after a yearlong hiatus, I am now running again, this time for USU, where I'm working on a composite Elementary Ed/Deaf Ed major.

7 miles with 2 tempo. Kay, it might not have actually been a full 7.. probably closer to 6.5. Anyway, we all met at the high school today (well, like 9 girls and 12 guys or something like that.) Stoner and Mia and I ran out hospital direction. Cause my hip started hurting yesterday, I was kinda hesitant to do the full 2 mile tempo, because it usually hurts when I go faster. We spent forever trying to figure out how I might be able to cut the tempo short and still run with them, and finally I just decided that I would start with them, and if it hurt too terribly bad, I would stop after a mile, but if it felt okayish I would just do the whole thing. My legs just felt trashed today.. they were pretty sore and felt heavy. And the really weird thing was that all three of us were having more trouble breathing down here than we did up at camp. Anyway, we started our tempo at Starbucks and ran that pace all the way back to the high school. My hip felt totally fine; don't know what was wrong with it yesterday. The only thing I had that I could possibly complain about during the tempo was how hard it was to breathe, but when I listened, Stoner and Mia were breathing just as hard as me, which made me feel better. Overall, a good run, and I'm glad I dragged myself to practice this morning instead of having to do it by myself later.

I see you're taking the assignment to look at everyone's blog seriously. It means a lot to the others for a runner like you to leave comments. Nice work.
