Am: 6 miles with 20 minute tempo. My goal pace was like 6:30ish. The first 10 minutes were golden, and I was between 6:30 and 6:40 the whole time. The last 10 minutes were awful. I could not make my legs move faster. These tempos are discouraging. I get so frustrated. The run back from the trail wasn't that great either. My legs hurt way bad for some reason- they haven't done that since the beginning of the season. I took my mind off it by comtemplating what I'd do if one of us was attacked by a dog. My final answer: probably scream. We had weights and plyos after.. my partner was TB.. big mistake. Turns out she's way buff and benches with the 10 lb weights, not the 5s. Ow. |
