I feel good enough to run now, but my achilles is still a little sore - this is two or three months since I last ran and five or six months since I've really put in many miles. The achilles is a rough one for healing I guess. Any suggestions for avoiding a repeat injury?
Anyhow, I'd been biking here and there over the past couple of weeks to save the achilles, but it froze me out yesterday morning. I had to switch to the run if I was going to do anything. Running felt, at least spiritually/emotionally, fantastic. I've got me a real love affair with running and that's the truth. |
