Yes! I'm planning on doing the Utah Valley Marathon in June. Last time I did a marathon I used a plan off of runnersworld.com. This time I'm just going to see what happens when I piece together workouts from the different stuff I've been reading and seeing. I was hoping to maybe be able to place well in this marathon - then I saw there was huge prize money offered - so now I'll just go for a good time (: Will you be doing this marathon too?

i think you still have a very good shot at placing well. 5 mile tempos @ 6:53 pace is awesome this early in the year. i am sure there will be a fast field because of the prize money, but marathons are so unpredictable, it's always fun to go out and see what happens. i am not planning on the marathon since i will be running eugene in early may. i am thinking of doing the half. 1% chance i will jump into the full if i am feeling recovered. best of luck with your training. go for your goals, you have the speed!
