I did a running analysis at the Running Lab in the Avenues to learn my lactate threshold to decide what my target marathon pace would be. I was thinking low 7s but this came out with a time of 7:40 or so which was ultimately my race time. A good learning experience. I learned my left foot pronation is within normal ranges and my overall stride is good with a mid-foot strike and good power. There was some sagging of the right hip when the speed got up that I'm sure I will ultimately learn is an important imbalance but I don't understand it now. |
