Bank run with no car wash extra part. We did 3x200meter fartleks whenever we wanted during the run. I did one just before the bank, one going down the hill, and one by the rock climbing park before 2450. I kind of sprinted each one and I think we were supposed to only get to race pace, so I was pretty tired. I also felt good about my finish on the last road to the school. Today I tried to concentrate on my form, it is something I want to work extra on this winter.

We ran around the mall as a team, up in SLC for state. It was rainy but felt fine. It was a good fun run with everybody.

STATE. It was a totally awesome trip. It was fun watching the races and supporting the team. Good job PV boys and good job Ruth!

Miles on Asics 2120

First run was Aug. 23. I added up the miles on those shoes from what I have on the blog. 209.21

I haven't been counting the .5 mile warm up we do everyday but with that I think it would add 20 miles from around 40 days. I still need to look at it some more.

24.55 miles on my red racing flats

Stake fun run this morning. I didn't take this race seriously at all. I didn't really want to do it because I was tired and not ready. I still went because I knew it would be good to get a little run in and it would be a "fun" run! The race started and I was by myself after the first minute to the end. It was a nice course, 2 loops from 2450 E park down to the bottom road and up. It had some hill action that made it interesting, strong up hill and nice down hill. The last part of the race I decided that I could and I wanted to get 21 minutes. I did finish at my goal and it is a good time for today. When I finished I went back a little ways to find my Dad and ran with him to the end. I am glad that I came and ran this morning, it was fun and I got a cool medal.
