Tortoise fence. Ran with Ruth for most of the run and we just talked. I was really tired but it easier when we were talking and not thinking so much about running.

Ran to the bank and back. I fell back from the group in the middle for a little bit, but then I pushed a little and caught back up. I am glad I did, it was a better run that way. My legs are way tired and it was really hot.

----Race tomorrow. I am nervous and scared but way excited. One goal I have for this year is to not have any races above 20min. Last year I beat my old PR at the first race, I'll go for it tomorrow.--
* I have been thinking about my goals and I wanted to add a goal: Just have fun. If I get TO focussed on braking times and beating people it wont be as fun for me. I need to remember why I do XC and have fun. And break as many times as I can.. : ) |
