And it came to pass that there was a mighty rushing of wind, and thus we see that running outside is not a good thing when you can't stay standing upright...

Treddy run. Pretty boring but was working on a few things while running so it wasn't totally bad.

HR stayed below 140 for the first 30 minutes and didn't get above 150 for the rest.

I must admit, I had a real pleasure listening to the howling wind and rain this morning and going back to sleep. Legs couldn't run yet even if I did want to get out there.

I'm all signed up for Newport! But it does seem like a long time to wait for another marathon. And then there is the all-eggs-in-one-basket issue. I am considering sneaking another one in late February or early March if I can find a good one.

Sno, Do what you gotta do!

I have wednesday off(running that is) this week and it was very nice not to have to go out in the rain.

You are going to love Newport!! I guarantee it!

Now watch it be a deluge or a roastingly hot day...

Enjoy your time off...After my first marathon I took it easy for about a month and everything healed up nicely...then after Newport I raced a 10K 3 weeks later and got all kinds of problems...learned my lesson.
