Short-Term Running Goals:

Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in  2025.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

Personal:

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Bend down, O Lord, and hear my prayer;

answer me, for I need your help.
Protect me, for I am devoted to you.
Save me, for I serve you and trust you.
You are my God.
Be merciful to me, O Lord,
for I am calling on you constantly.
Give me happiness, O Lord,
for I give myself to you.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive,
so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help.
Listen closely to my prayer, O Lord;
hear my urgent cry.
I will call to you whenever I’m in trouble,
and you will answer me.  - Psalm 86:1-7

4:45am...6 easy miles with Moxie on a nice morning along Sunnyside.  Tired and bit sore.  For the last week I have been having some light shortness of breath for short periods of time during the day.  I think it is stress/anxiety due to some stuff going on...will get it check out soon if it does not go away. (Altra Impulse)

6.5 miles on a really nice day at lunch today.  I overdressed and had to strip down on the way back when sun came out and it warmed up. Mirage shoes were rubbing strange for the first few miles...had 2 rabbits during my run which helped me pick up the pace: 1) A guy on a bike smoking (caught, passed and dropped in 0.5M); 2) A runner on the other side of the river moving out...caught him (starting behind him).  Overall a good run except the shoe issue. (Mirage Gray)

Got home and after seeing my bloody sock and shoe, maybe these Mirage won't work for me.  Will try to adjust, run short one time then either give to Justin (if they feel ok for him) or return/retire to yard work.

After your snowy I.F. weather yesterday, I was going to brag about it being 65 and warm in Boise, but it looks like we got the rain/wind our way today...As you said, Spring in Idaho.
