Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

No racing, retired.

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

Out early for a run before Kami went to work.  6M slow and easy...it took about 4 miles before I felt like I was running then the last 2 I picked it up and extended my hips a lot better.  (Defyance)

6.1M on a warm day at lunch.  1.5M easy then 4.6M at MP (6:20ish range) really focusing on opening my hips.  Effort felt as easy as the warmup, pace was about 25-45 seconds a mile faster.  Just need to get to the point where I don't have to focus as hard and it is natural then I will focus on my toe off in combination with this change.  (Ride 2010)

Interesting articles you posted last week. My cadence reaches 190. Maybe I could see some improvements. Thanks for posting!

Just noticed you did Disney last year - very fast time - well done. I was at that race too - 3:12 a good bit behind you. What did you think of the race? Had you done that one before?

That was my first time doing WDW. Pretty nice race, starting logistics a bit convoluted and the course was ok but a lot of back roads. Running through the parks was fun, but I really don't remember much of them (except the Studios...I remember running towards the big mural of the roads and seeing Frozone!). The last few miles on the roads was a bit tough and lonely...but it is the same for most marathons at the end.

With all my recent hip pain, I'll be interested to see if you can change your hip flexion.
