Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in < 4years.

No racing, retired.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

5.5M in 38:20 outside early this morning before my wife had to leave for work at 6:30am.  It was considerably warmer than I thought it would be (12 degrees) but I got up later expecting it to be about 0.   (T3)

Continuation of the run for 7.6M on the TM at home immediately after my wife left and I could change into indooor clothes in 49:20.  3.1M at MP (6:15 - 6:25) and the rest at an easy 6:40 - 6:30 pace while watching "Psych".  Overall a good Half marathon distance run for today.  (Stratos 3)

So admirable how you run every day even when traveling so much! So dedicated! I guess the secret to being able to run on the dreadmill is to watch something good on TV... I can't handle the TM at all! Nice run Jeff!

Great runs Jeff. Your going to do well in Boston. Your endurance with running your last marathon will carry-over in Boston. I hope you and your family enjoy it. I really haven't decided when my first marathon will be. It won't be SLC or Ogden though.

Thanks everyone! Running is feeling really good right now as I hope it is for all of you.

Robert, 2 a days are a wonder to get the mileage up, but I am counting this as a single since the time in between runs was only about 5 minutes.

Kory, keep finding the joy in the run and don't worry about the race yet, the time will come.

Lucia, the TM is evil but necessary at times. I much preferred the temps in Baltimore earlier this week and loved the runs during this trip! Keep running strong.
