Keep on running, enjoy it for the sake of running, relax and enjoy life...de-stress.  Stay fit as I enter retirement in  2025.

Keep running until this old body says no, running for fun.

 I started running competitively in 2005 and ran my first marathon in 2005. Now retired from competitive racing.

4:15am...6.75 very slow miles this morning.  Stayed up a bit late so I was a little tired so this morning I don't think I really woke up until mile 4!  Did I mention this was a very slow run?  (Defyance)

6.5M in 43:40 on a beautiful day at lunch.  Ran mostly in the 6:45 range but with a few pickup and 6 barefoot strides at the end for 0.3M.  Overall a nice comfortable run.  (Ride 2010)

Interesting article Jeff. Interesting to compare this to the Chi Running ideas regarding arm swing and footstrike.

Also I curious with the barefoot strides - do you run them on grass or roads and how often/far?

I do my barefoot strides on grass in the park next too my office. I am trying to do these at least 1-3 times a week.
